Ed Inform APP
AWIS Ed Inform offers an easy way to manage any student's personal learning. The app is an easy to use tool acting as an integrated or stand alone module of AWIS' SSDAS Student Information System.
Teachers or school s use the app to create new student assessments of personalized learning and to see the gallery of all accomplishments for each student. For each student assessment they include a title and description and they can assign subjects/courses and competencies that are applicable for the specific assessment. From there, images, videos, audio files, and other documents can be added to the assessment by the teacher as evidence of the student's learning. Teachers may also apply a score to the assessment in order to keep track of a student's progress towards meeting or exceeding mastery of a competency for their current grade level. They may also provide communication to parents with ways to their learning or other .
Parents can use the app to see their children's assessments. In the gallery the assessments are sorted by date with the newest shown first, so they can instantly notice any new ones. They are able to view the communication from the teacher and to easily reply to the teacher in an SMS-style dialogue.
Students can use the app to see their own assessments and have the capability to easily reply to the teacher and to take part in the teacher/parent/student communication.
Please note that this app requires a valid name and . These are available to teachers, s, students and parents for those s or jurisdictions with a subscription to the AWIS Student, School and District istration System (SSDAS).
